Last Thursday a community hearing was held in Larwenceville by Councilman Dowd to discuss Chesapeake Energy's plans to drill in city neighborhoods:

Have you heard any of the rumors that some oil companies have bought up some empty lots around LP to use as frac/drill sites. I heard there was a Chesapeake truck energy parked at the empty lot on Rodgers and some guy was poking around. Do you have any info about this? You seen anything?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I have not heard anything regarding energy companies purchasing empty lots in the neighborhood. There are a number of sites in the area that have leased and perhaps that was where they were working?
